Hi Diane,
Thanks for your comment! I grew up in Greece for 7 years so spent a lot of time on the mainland, and south of Greece in Peloponessos. In Athens, I recommend going to see the Parthenon, at the Acropolis (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parthenon) (be sure to wear good walking shoes as the climb up is rocky and slippery). Also, my husband enjoys walking around the Plaka and eating a delicious treat of souvlaki in pita bread. (souvlaki in pita is pieces of pork as opposed to a gyro which has the carved meat in it).

I have not been to Mykonos, but spent 3 nights on the island of Santorini where we got engaged by the lighthouse, best place to stay is the village of Oia. Also, be sure to visit the ancient site of Minoan Akrotiri (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Santorini#.22Minoan.22_Akrotiri) where they claim Atlantis was! Your daughter will probably love the nightlife in the village of Fira! Have a great time, and let me know how it is!
