This is an interesting review since technically I have been eating food from “the Chateau” in Waltham at work for almost 4 years, BUT have never sat or eaten in their actual restaurant. So, The Chateau just opened their fifth location on the lake in Norton, MA (they bought Anne’s Place last year) and what a wonderful job they have done! Scott and I live about .2 miles away from lake Winnecunnet and have been desperate in the past 3 years that we have lived here, to have somewhere cool to go eat. We were not disappointed when we sat lakeside in the lounge area and enjoyed probably the best “lobster, shrimp, scallop fra diavolo” that I have had in a long time. As far as other dining choices in the area, only Porticello’s (site is down) in Easton comes close to competing in the fra diavolo category.
