Ah, Bricco is another great meal in the North End. We can’t wait to see what will happen once all the gardens are planted! I ate at Bricco 5 years ago and was not that impressed. There is a new (3rd?) chef now and she is Marisa Iocco (sp?). Wow, I got the zucchini blossoms stuffed with ricotta cheese and zucchini/eggplant/cherry tomatoes on the side, yummy! Scott got the shrimp trio, amazing. I liked my lobster nudo, but was feeling left out even though it was a hefty 2-pounder. It was almost like I could have used a spicy sauce or simple salted butter on the side. Ugh, I really need to go running this weekend, all this eating! But, the wines were superb, probably because our friend Thor Iverson was picking them out. Overall, a much better experience than 5 years ago, but would probably still prefer eating Italian/Portueguese seafood in Bristol, RI at my in-laws or at Nana Meatballs in Quincy, MA!
