Check out the 3-course prix fixe menu that we enjoyed on Sun, Aug 20, 2006 with my in-laws and close friends of ours. The majority did the wine-pairing, which made this an incredible bargain. My fav was the wild mussel chowder, yummy - light not too heavy on the cream. plentiful and tender mussels, plus a crispy bacon saltiness with perfect extra of basil olive oil on top. Dessert was not impressive (my belgian torte was dry and boring) but my mother-in-law’s mango creme brulee won the contest, it was perfection. My free-range chicken entree with apricots, baked brie (mozzarella stick style) was a little too salty but I still enjoyed the sauce and the almondine greens. The wine pairings were a little too subtle and unassuming. but at least they didn’t compete with the dishes.
